Co-founder and Head of Research
Thomas Lee is a Managing Partner and the Head of Research at FS Insight. He is an accomplished Wall Street strategist with over 25 years of experience in equity research, and has been top ranked by Institutional Investor every year since 1998. Prior to co-founding FS Insight, he served most recently as J.P. Morgan’s Chief Equity Strategist from 2007 to 2014, and previously as Managing Director at Salomon Smith Barney. His areas of expertise include Market Strategy, Small/Mid-Cap Strategy and Telecom Services.
L . Thomas Block
Washington Policy Strategist
L. Thomas Block is the Washington Policy Strategist at FS Insight, and also President of Tom Block Consults, a public policy consulting firm. Prior to starting his firm, Tom had a 21-year career at JP Morgan Chase, where he served as Global Head of Government Relations and created a Washington Research product for the firm. For 17 years he served as the senior lobbyist responsible for managing political relationships with the US government, state and local governments, and the EU and its member states. He created the bank’s EU Government Relations program. Prior to joining JP Morgan Chase in 1987, Tom was a vice president at Irving Trust Company.

Head of Crypto Strategy
Sean Farrell is the Head of Crypto Strategy at FS Insight. Prior to joining FS Insight, Sean was a manager in the Transaction Opinions group at Alvarez & Marsal, and previously worked as an associate with Anvil Advisors.
Mark L. Newton, CMT
Head of Technical Strategy
Mark L. Newton is the Head of Technical Strategy at FS Insight. As a former managing member/Owner of Newton Advisors LLC, Mark has more than 25 years of buy and sell-side experience in the financial services industry. He formerly worked with Diamondback Capital Management and Morgan Stanley in New York City as their technical strategist. Before moving to the New York City area in 2004, Mark traded equity options as a market maker/floor trader at the CBOE and worked in risk management. Mark is a member of the Market Technicians Association and a former member of the CBOE, CBOT, and PHLX.
Ken Xuan, CFA, FRM
Head of Data Science Research
Ken Xuan is the Head of Data Science Research at FS Insight where he optimizes and tests FS Insight’s proprietary portfolio models. He also manages and maintains FS Insight’s cryptocurrency and blockchain databases. Ken started his career at West Monroe Partners as an operations strategy consultant.
Matt Cerminaro
Research Associate
Matt Cerminaro is a Research Associate at FS Insight. Prior to joining Fundstrat, Matt interned at Fitch Ratings and was a frequent contributor on Seeking Alpha under the pseudonym "The Black Sheep". Matt graduated from Union College with a B.A. in Economics, minor in Classics, and was a member of the Dutchman football team.

Tom Couture is a Crypto Strategy Associate at FS Insight. Prior to working at FS Insight, Tom worked at KPMG as a management consultant in their Financial Services Solutions group. Tom holds a B.A. in Finance and Business analytics from Villanova University.

Mr. Czul’s experience in technology covers Bioinformatics, Aerospace Engineering, and Algorithmic Trading in financial markets. He has developed extensive information systems involving real-time data in fixed income, forex, commodity and cryptocurrencies powered by artificial intelligence and natural language processing. Cryptocurrency enthusiast since 2014, his expertise covers AI, technology, data-mining, blockchain, cryptocurrency and macroeconomic trading.

Kent Fung is a Vice President at FS Insight. Prior to joining FS Insight, Kent was a senior operational risk research analyst at Algorithmics, an IBM company. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Carrie Presley
Head of Media Production
Carrie Presley is the Head of Media Production at FS Insight. Carrie has over 10 years of corporate accounting experience and is nationally recognized for instructional innovations in technology. Most recently, Carrie founded a blockchain software engineering and education company, developing programs for decentralized applications. Carrie received her BBA from the University of Oklahoma in Accounting.

Max Motz is a Research Associate at FS Insight. Prior to working at FS Insight, Max interned at Diamond Standard where he spent his time writing a comprehensive 44-page book on diamond investments.
